Perhaps my last image with the little Seestar S30 Pro... or maybe not. Who knows! This two-panel mosaic of the Small Magellanic Cloud (SMC) was acquired remotely from Kagga Kamma, South Africa, between July and September 2026, mainly during full Moon periods. At that time, the SMC was one of the few targets I could image relatively easily while keeping lunar interference to a minimum. The combination of the LP filter with IR mode helped bring out the numerous emission nebulae scattered throughout the galaxy, highlighting their structures and making them stand out against the surrounding stellar field. Perhaps a fitting farewell to the little Seestar, while I wait to install a new setup at Kagga Kamma's second observatory, currently under construction. But never say never!
