Technical data
This image of M16 - the Eagle Nebula was acquired during a relatively short remote imaging session with the Seestar S50, a system I often use from an observing site close to my hometown. Although the total integration time was only 6 hours, I processed the dataset using 2x drizzle to extract as much detail as possible from the Pillars of Creation. The final image combines 4 hours with the UV/IR filter and 2 hours with the LP filter, the latter used to enhance the Hα emission within the nebula.
