A closer look at NGC 6193, the young open cluster associated with NGC 6188, the Fighting Dragons of Ara, in the southern constellation of Ara. The two objects are physically connected: the hot, massive stars of NGC 6193, particularly its O-type stars, provide much of the ionizing radiation responsible for the Hα emission of NGC 6188. The cluster is only a few million years old and represents the core of the Ara OB1 association. This HaLRGB composition was processed to preserve the stellar field while enhancing the surrounding ionized hydrogen structures.
